This Privacy Policy explains how Iron Time handles information when you use the Iron Time iPhone app and this website.
Overview
Iron Time is designed to keep your workout data understandable and under your control. At launch, Iron Time does not use third-party advertising SDKs and does not use tracking for cross-app or cross-site advertising purposes.
This policy is intended to describe the current launch behavior of the Iron Time app and this website as of April 9, 2026.
Information stored by the app
Iron Time stores the workout information you create in the app, such as routines, exercises, completed workouts, workout history, personal records, tracked progress chart data, and related training statistics.
This information is primarily stored locally on your device so the app can function as a workout logger and progress tracker.
Subscription and purchase information
If you choose to purchase or restore Iron Time Pro, the app uses Apple's StoreKit and App Store services to request product pricing, process the purchase, restore prior purchases, and determine whether your App Store account currently has an active entitlement.
Iron Time does not process your payment card directly. Billing, renewals, cancellations, and related payment processing are handled by Apple under your App Store account and Apple's terms.
iCloud and CloudKit backup
If iCloud is available and enabled for your device, Iron Time may use Apple CloudKit to back up and restore your workout data. This is intended to help protect your routines, workouts, and stats across device changes or reinstall scenarios.
CloudKit is provided by Apple and is governed by Apple's terms, privacy practices, and your iCloud account settings.
Notifications
Iron Time may request permission to send notifications for rest timer alerts. These notifications are used only to support workout timing functionality.
How information is used
Information handled by the app is used to provide workout logging, routine building, workout history, progress tracking, subscription access state, purchase restore behavior, and optional backup and restore functionality.
Third parties and disclosures
Based on the current app behavior as of April 9, 2026, Iron Time does not use tracking technologies for advertising, does not sell your personal information, and does not include third-party ad networks or third-party analytics SDKs in the launch privacy posture.
Where relevant, Apple may receive information needed to provide App Store purchases, entitlement checks, and optional iCloud or CloudKit backup behavior. Those Apple services are governed by Apple's own terms and privacy practices.
If these practices change in a future version of the app, this Privacy Policy and the app's App Store privacy disclosures should be updated before that version is released.
Website information
This website is intended to provide marketing, support, privacy, and legal information for Iron Time. If you contact Iron Time by email, the information you provide in that message will be used to respond to your support or privacy inquiry.
Data retention and deletion
Data stored locally in the app remains on your device unless you delete it, remove the app, or change your iCloud settings where applicable.
To stop rest timer alerts, you can disable notifications for Iron Time in iPhone Settings. To stop optional backup behavior, you can change the relevant iCloud settings on your device. If you remove the app from your device, locally stored app data may also be removed from that device.

Children's privacy
Iron Time is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children through this website. If you believe information has been submitted in error, contact support.
Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect app changes, legal requirements, or operational updates. The effective date above will be revised when material updates are published.
